Barcelona defender Rafael Marquez has agreed to sign a contract extension with the Catalan giants that will keep him at Nou Camp until 2010, Spanish daily Marca reported on Monday. "I will speak to Barcelona on Monday. There are one or two minor details to sort out but it is a fact that I will sign for another four years," Marquez said. "I was never interested in other offers because I believe we have a team of great players who can achieve a lot more. I would love to end my career with Barcelona," he added. The Mexico international performed well in his country's World Cup campaign, netting their only goal in the second round's 2-1 defeat to Argentina, which knocked them out of the competition. Marquez joined Barcelona from French side Monaco in 2003, where he won two Spanish La Liga titles as well as the UEFA Champions League trophy.
