Ziad Jaziri scored a goal and dished out an assist to help Tunisia hold Saudi Arabia to a 2-2 draw in their World Cup Group H match on Wednesday. Jaziri fired Tunisia in front after 23 minutes but was cancelled out by Yasser Al-Qahtani in the 57th minute. Veteran striker Sami Al-Jaber came off the bench to grab the lead for the Saudis in the 84th minute before a last gasp header from Radhi Jaidi put the Tunisians at level. The Arab counterparts now share second place in Group H on one point each, two points behind leaders Spain who crushed Ukraine 4-0 earlier on Wednesday.
Al-Jaber scored a beautiful goal for the Greens Tunisia took a stunning lead in the 23rd minute when the Saudi's failed to clear a free-kick only for Jaziri to pounce and unleash a splendid volley past goalkeeper Mabrouk Zayed. The Saudis continued to press forward and managed an equalizer when Mohamed Nour was released down the right flank and sent a low cross to Al-Qahtani. The agile Hilal striker connected with Nour's cross on the near post and fired home under pressure from Tunisia's defenders. Al-Jaber became the only Arab player to score in three World Cup finals when he notched home the second with six minutes left to play. Just when the Saudis thought they have grabbed the three points, Jaziri sent an inch-perfect cross to Bolton defender Jaidi who buried the ball home deep in injury time.
