But a double salvo from substitute Tim Cahill helped Australia register a stunning 3-1 come back win over Japan in the opening game of their World Cup Group F on Monday. The Everton midfielder struck twice in the final six minutes before John Aloisi sealed the win for the "Socceroos" in injury time.
Hiddink was furious over Abdul-Fattah's call "This team is nice to work with because they never give up," the Dutch coach, who guided South Korea to fourth place in the 2002 World Cup, added. On the other hand, Japan's Brazilian coach Zico blamed his team for sitting back after snatching the lead.
