Capello commits future to Juve
Published in FilGoal on 29 - 05 - 2006

Juventus coach Fabio Capello said that he is sure the club will stay in the Serie A next season and added that he'll remain in his position despite contacts from both Real Madrid and Inter Milan to lure the 60-year-old tactician.
"I am convinced that Juventus will remain in Serie A and we are already working towards this," Capello told Gazetta dello Sport on Monday.
"I only have Juventus in my head for now, if and when the time arrives we'll meet to discuss any other eventual projects," Capello added.
The Italian champions are caught in the middle of a match-fixing and bribery scandal involving the club's former director general Luciano Moggi and now face the threat of relegating from Serie A if found guilty.
Talks of relegation to the second division fueled the rumors that hinted that Capello was eyed by several European giants and that he was leaving the club.
"I know Real Madrid are interested in me, I had contact with former club Florentino Perez in February, but I've always told every club that I'm still the Juventus boss," Capello said.
"Inter? I only met the club president Massimo Moratti once, but then he called me before the last game of the season telling me nothing more would be done using the scandal as an excuse," the former AC Milan and Roma coach said.
