Arsenal's hopes to finish fourth in the Premiership received a blow on Wednesday when they were held to a 1-1 draw by relegation-threatened Portsmouth. Captain Thierry Henry put Arsenal ahead in the 36th minute when he sent a powerful finish into the hosts' far angle of the net. Congolese international striker Lomana LuaLua leveled the score line 30 minutes later when he powered a header past Germany's goalkeeper Jens Lehmann. The draw placed Arsenal fifth with 54 points, level with Blackburn Rovers but leading on goal difference, and four points behind London rivals Tottenham who hold on fourth spot. Portsmouth are third from bottom on 29 points. Arsenal will play Spanish side Villarreal in the semis of the UEFA Champions League next week.
