Kigali – Sayed El-Taalabi: Ittihad Alexandria trio, Hossam Abdul-Moenem, Youssef Taher and Mohamed Sharaf are confirmed to miss their side's African Confederation Cup round-32 match against Rwandan club Rayon Sports on Saturday. The club trio will miss the highly anticipated match after the club failed to provide them with their travel permits and visas. Ittihad boss Talaat Youssef also insisted that even if the players were to arrive on the day of the match, they would be tired and would need to rest for a day before playing the match. Ittihad vice president Mohamed Moeselhi had went to the Cairo International Airport to try and solve the dilemma and came out with the conclusion that procedural mistakes were committed when applying for the players' visas. The Ittihad delegation head, Hisham Al-Turki urged the players to forget their teammates' problem and concentrate their match against Rayon Sports. On the other hand, The Alexandria-based club will begin their training on Friday on the same venue that will host the Confederation Cup match. The match will not be televised.
