Juventus edged closer to their second successive Serie A title after a goalless draw against 10-man AC Milan at the Stadio Delle Alpi on Sunday. The result kept Juve ten points clear at the top of the table and left Milan second on 64 points. Milan played with 10 men for more than 20 minutes as midfielder Gennaro Gattuso was sent-off after receiving his second booking. The visitors were closer to score during the entire game but they couldn't translate their excellence into goals. Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko almost put his side ahead in the 21st minute after he met Serginho's low cross with a close-range shot that deflected off teammate Filippo Inzaghi's body. Inzaghi squandered a great chance when Kaka moved down the left before sending a low cross which went past keeper Gianluigi Buffon but the Italian marksman failed to maintain his balance with the goal at his mercy and his shot went wide. Gattuso received his marching orders in the 69th minute following a harsh challenge on Pavel Nedved.
