Les Pharaons à la 17ème place mondiale

La sélection d'Egypte a enregistré sa meilleure performance dans le classement mensuel de la FIFA en terminant à la 17ème position dans la rubrique du mois de février qui a été publié le 15 février.
Les Pharaons ont avant de 15 places en comparaison à leur 32ème place du mois de février. Ce saut vient après leur exploit d'avoir remporté la 25ème édition de Coupe d'Afrique des Nations qui s'est déroulé en Egypte du 20 janvier au 10 février.
L'Egypte devance ainsi plusieurs grandes équipes tels que l'Allemagne, la Grèce, la Croatie, la Colombie, la Russie et d'autres encore.
Le Nigeria a fait un grand saut aussi pour être à la 12ème place mondial. Il est à noter que l'Egypte avait aussi décroché la 17ème place mondial après avoir remporté la CAN en 1998.
