Libya captain Tarek Al-Taib is ready for the African Cup of Nations opener against Egypt on Friday despite earlier reports saying that he was still doubtful for the game. Al-Taib took part in Libya's last training on Thursday until the end and didn't seem suffering any muscle strain as the Libyan coaching staff announced earlier on Thursday. The instrumental playmaker shined in the training and put on an eye-catchy display during practicing medium and long shooting and set-pieces especially corners and free-kicks. Midfielders Jihad Muntasser and Nader Al-Tarhouni, defender Naji Shushan and goalkeeper Muftah Ghazalla also looked in sharp forms. Some 100 Libyan fans attended the training and chanted supporting slogans during the 70-minute session.
