أعلن نجم المصارعة الحرة ونجم هوليوود دواين جونسون الشهير ب "ذا روك" عن بطلة أحدث أفلامه السينمائية. وشارك ذا متابعيه عبر Instagram الذين قارب عددهم على 56 ملايين معجب صورة للممثلة التي ستشاركه بطولة فيلمه الجديد، الجزء الثاني من فيلم الكوميديا والفانتازيا Jumanji، وهي كارين جيلان. وأكد ذا روك أن كارين جيلان ستلعب أهم دور في فيلمه الجديد، والذي يقاسمه بطولته الممثل الكوميدي جاك بلاك، بطل أفلام الكرتون Kung Fu Panda، ونجم الغناء نيك جوناس. وأشار أن ما جذبه هو وجاك بلاك ونيك جوناس لاختيار كارين جيلان تحديدا هو تمتعها بالجمال والموهبة، وأنها لم تتردد من حلق شعرها من أجل دورها في فيلم الأبطال الخارقين Guardians of the Galaxy.
