Adrian Mutu scored twice to help Juventus come from a one-goal deficit to beat Palermo 2-1 in the Serie A on Saturday. Mutu's goal in the first-half cancelled out Christian Terlizzi's opener before the Romanian international sealed the victory in the 34th minute The win maintained Juventus' position on the top of league table with 49 points, 11 ahead of second-place Inter Milan who play Siena on Sunday. Terlizzi put Palermo ahead in the 12th minute when he met Zlatan Ibrahimovic's misdirected header with a first-timer volley into the bottom left corner of the net. Mutu leveled the score three minutes later when he sent a close-range shot into the net after his initial effort was denied by the crossbar. The former Chelsea player added the second as he received Patrick Vieira's pass and unleashed a low drive inside the box past Palermo keeper Cristiano Lupatelli. Earlier on Saturday, Fiorentina were held to a 1-1 draw with Reggina Alessandro Lucarelli put Reggina in front in the 12th minute before Martin Jorgensen equalized just one minute later.
