Egypt ended up losing 3-2 to Chile despite scoring twice in the opening 16 minutes in a friendly match in Santiago. Egypt star Mohamed Salah opened the scoring after 12 minutes as Police Union striker Khaled Kamar doubled the visitors' lead four minutes later. Marcelo Diaz pulled one back for Chile before half time as star striker Edy Vargas scored twice to put the hosts in front in the second half. Egypt will play another friendy against Jamaica in London next week. Egypt played with Sherif Ekrami in goal behind a five-man defense comprising Ahmed Saied 'Ouka', Mohamed Abdul-Shafi, Ahmed Elmohamady, Ali Ghazal and Rami Rabiea. In midfield, Mohamed Elneny, Hossam Ghaly and Ahmed Fathi played, with Salah and Kamar in attack.
