African champions back to winning ways with a thumping win over MCDR... Ahli climbed to second of their Egyptian Premier League group with an emphatic 4-1 victory over MCDR. After in-form striker Amr Gamal had opened the scoring, a second-half brace from Abdullah Al-Saied helped the Reds claim their biggest victory so far this season. Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet' was also on the scoresheet, while MCDR's consolation goal came from a wonder strike by ex-Ahli defender Hussein Al-Sayed. The vital win helped Ahli close the gap on leaders Smouha to three points but the latter have a game in hand. VIDEOS Gamal opens the scoring just before half time with a header from Geddo's cross. Al-Saied scores two well-taken goals, courtesy of a couple of assists from Burkinabe winger Moussa Yedan. Trezeguet makes it four with a close-range finish into the roof of the net. Left-back Al-Sayed scores in injury time with a wonderful right-footed drive that only proved to be a consolation for MCDR.
