Ahli needed an ill-fated second-half own goal by Mozambique defender Mano to secure a 1-0 vicory over ENPPI in the Egyptian league.
The unfortunate Mano saw his block to Saad Samir's cross deflected into the net for the only goal of the game on 66 minutes.
The win means that Ahli are still on top of Group A with maximum points from three games.
The African champions have also yet to concede a goal, along with second-placed MCDR, who beat Dakhlia on Thursday.
