Egypt coach Bob Bradley has named a provisional squad of 29 players for this month's World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe. The Pharaohs host Zimbabwe on March 26 in Alexandria, four days before taking on Swaziland in a final warm-up ahead of the crucial Group G clash. The list included the names of 12 foreign-based Egyptians, excluding veteran goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari and young striker Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka'. Rio Ave forward Koka, along with Ahli teenager Rami Rabiea, is away with the Egypt U-20s, who kickoff their African Youth Championship on Saturday against Ghana. Zamalek striker Ahmed Gaafar has earned his first international call-up, so did midfielder Nour Al-Sayed, while there was no place for Ahli's Al-Sayed Hamdi. Zamalek captain Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed, who made only a single appearance under Bradley so far, was recalled as a possible replacement for Al-Hadari.
