The Turkish Prime Minister spoke to the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak by phone on Friday, his office said. Turkey's Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan had phone talks with Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak regarding Iran's nuclear programme. Erdogan briefed Mubarak on the agreement reached in Tehran regarding Iran's nuclear programme, and exchanged views with the leader. With the agreement signed by Turkish Foreign Minister AhmedDavutoglu, Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchehr Motaki and Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorim on Monday, Iran committed to give the 1200kg of 3.5 per cent enriched uranium to Turkey in exchange for 20 per cent enriched uranium it will receive from Western countries to be used as fuel in the nuclear research reactor in Tehran. Tehran will receive the enriched uranium from the Vienna Group, comprising of the US, France, Russia and International Atomic Energy Agency, in Turkey.
