Egypt Sunday condemned bombings, which had occurred earlier in the day near the Egyptian Consulate in Baghdad. Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit contacted his Iraqi counterpart Husheir Zebari in the aftermath of the attacks in which four Egyptians working at the consultate were injured. The two officials condmened the acts as cowardly terrorism. "The preliminary reports coming from the Egyptian Ambassador in Iraq and the Egyptian Consukkl in Baghdad said that the injuries of the our Egyptians were not serious," said Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry in Cairo Hossam Zaki.
