Mohamed Zidan was one of Egypt's most brilliant players in their latest triumph in the African Cup of Nations, which ended in Angola Sunday night. The speedy Borussia Dortmund forward showed some silky moves in the tournament and scored a great goal against Algeria. Now his father claims some of Europe's biggest sides are chasing his son. Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona have talked to Mohamed's agent, the local media reported on Thursday. Zidan was one of brilliant key players in Angola. He has set up the last goal of the ACN final against Ghana last Sunday when he passed the ball to dangerous striker Mohamed Nagi 'Gedo' in the 85th minute, and the latter netted the ball confidentially. Zidan also did a similar inspired pass in the ACN 2008 in Ghana, when he passed the ball to Mohamed Abou-Treika in the final against Cameroon. The player's father has said that Zidan has a clause in his contract that enables him to complete a move to any of these clubs at the end of the season. The 29-year-old striker has scored two goals for Dortmund this season and dished out several assists, creating a dangerous partnership with Lucas Barrios. Arsenal's manager Arsene Wenger has been linked with a number of strikers in recent weeks, following the long-term injury to Robin van Persie. Manchester United's boss may also be looking to strengthen up front in the summer to give Wayne Rooney more support.
