The storm affected the nation's governorates, where the temperature is expected to reach 10 centigrade in Cairo Saturday, the meteorologists said. The cold weather was coupled with light rain on Cairo, they added. Al-Shams Gale, which hits the nation during this time of the year, is the cause of this cold wave and low temperatures, the meteorological officials said, urging the people to put on heavy clothes.
