3 armoured vehicles sent to Tahrir

CAIRO - Egypt's Armed Forces sent on Wednesday three armoured vehicles to Mohamed Mahmoud street that leads to the Ministry of Interior premises near Cairo's Tahrir Square in a bid to halt violent clashes between protesters and police taking place for the fifth day in a row.
The security forces are reported to have retreated to Mansour street after protesters exceeded the barrier at Mohamed Mahmoud street, the official Middle East News Agency reported. Clashes are going on at Mohamed Mahmoud street.
