CAIRO (Updated 1) - Egypt's health ministry announced on Monday that the death toll due to clashes between protesters and police during the last three days reached 22. "The deaths in Tahrir Square and several provinces has climbed to 22," since clashes broke out on Saturday, the health ministry said in a statement published on the official Middle East News Agency (MENA). Hundreds have also been injured during the protests that broke out in Cairo, Alexandria and the canal city of Suez.
