CAIRO - Delegations from rival Palestinian groups Hamas and Fatah will arrive in Egypt Sunday in preparation for a meeting to implement reconciliation agreement, Palestinian officials said. It is going to be the first meeting since more than two months, as disputes between the two movements over the formation of a unity government, endangered an Egyptian-brokered agreement to reconcile the Palestinian internal split. Azzam Al-Ahmad, member of Fatah Central Committee, leads the delegation to Cairo, while Hamas are represented by Moussa Abu Marzouk, the deputy chief of the movement's politburo. "The meeting is to emphasise the two movements' determination to complete the reconciliation and end the split," said Amin Maqboul, a Fatah official. A Palestinian official said on condition of anonymity that the two movements are considering delaying the formation of the unity government.
