CAIRO - Al-Gamaa Al-Islamiya, the Islamic group, announced that it would part in a million-man march set for Friday, July 29, calling for protesters to end their sit-in and urging stability after the revolution. "After intensive consultations with all Islamic and political currents, Al-Gamaa Al-Islamiya has decided to take to the streets on July 29 in support of stability and requesting elections to be held as scheduled," according to a statement made by the group on its Facebook account.
