CAIRO - The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, which took over after president Hosni Mubarak stepped down in February, said a nightly three-hour curfew would end on June 15. The Council, headed by Defence Minister Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, said in a statement the ending of the curfew was aimed at bringing life back to normal in the country. The curfew was slapped on January 28, just hours after the Army deployed its tanks in Egyptian streets during the anti-Mubarak revolution.
