All necessary studies were conducted to launch a bid to build Egypt's first nuclear plants, said Egypt's Minister of Energy Hassan Younis on Tuesday. "Final touches were added to the bid to build el-Dabaa nuclear plant as the bid documents were reviewed by the State Council, the Ministry of Finance as well as other authorities concerned," Younis added, following a meeting with the board of the Nuclear Plants Authority. Younis added that the bid would be launched by mid-June for building two nuclear plants to generate electricity.
