CAIRO - Seventy-eight demonstrators among a large crowd staging a sit-in outside the official TV Cairo Corniche building known as 'Maspero' were injured, according to a medical source on Sunday. All cases have been hospitalised after receiving first aid. The injuries are not serious, Ayman Ragab, the head of Cairo Health Department, was quoted by the Middle East News Agency as saying. Ragab added that a report of the injured people would be announced in detail later on Sunday. Around 22 protesters were injured Saturday evening when unknown people shot at demonstrators, a Coptic source said earlier in the day. Hundreds of Egyptians have been protesting outside the TV building against recent attacks on a church in Imbaba near Cairo.
