CAIRO - An Egyptian public diplomacy delegation, including three potential presidential candidates, will visit Sudan on Thursday as part of a diplomatic campaign to reinvigorate ties with Africa that has already taken them to Uganda and Ethiopia. The delegation will meet Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and a number of political parties' leaders, The Egyptian Gazette has learnt. "The visit comes in coordination with the Sudanese Embassy in Cairo," said Sudanese Ambassador in Cairo Abdul Rahman Sir Al Khatim. Along with chief of Al-Wafd opposition party el-Sayed el-Badawi, Ayman Nour, Hamdin Sabahi and Hesham el-Bastawisi, all running for Egypt's top post, will be part of the delegation, including business tycoon Naguib Sawiris.
