CAIRO - Questioning wives of the two Mubarak's sons on the family's wealth was Sunday postponed indefinitely, due to “security reasons”, according to the official news agency MENA. The time for questioning Heidy Rasekh and Khadiga el-Gammal, the wives of Alaa and Gamal Mubarak respectively would be set later, Head of the Illicit Gains Authority at the Ministry of Justice, Assem al-Gohary said. The two women would be asked whether their husbands, who are currently jailed, had registered any of their properties in the wives' names, according to media report. The Egyptian authorities said last week that the Mubaraks' wealth had been amassed in a way inconsistent with their official incomes during Mubarak's' three-decade rule, which suggested profiteering and abuse of positions of influence.
