LUSAKA - AL-Ahly striker Mohamed Fadl is to miss Saturday's African Champions League (ACL) encounter at Zambia's Zesco United due to a calf strain. The towering striker sustained the injury during last Sunday's 1-0 win over Gaish in the Egyptian Premier League. He scored the winner in the second half. Ahly manager Manuel Jose included the former Ismai man in the squad in spite of his injury, holding out hope the latter would recover on time. However, team doctor Walid Abdul-Baki said on the Red Devils' official website Fadl has been ruled out of the game. Jose now has Dominique Da Silva, Osama Hosni and Geddo at his disposal for the frontline. Ahly lock horn with Zesco in the Champions League round of 16.
