CAIRO - The Coalition of Young Revolutionaries announced Wednesday that Friday's demonstrations have been suspended, as the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forced (SCAF) has responded to the calls for former President Hosni Mubarak, his sons and his top aides, to be detained, Al-Youm Al-Sabe reports. Nasser Abdel-Hamid, a member of the coalition, says that they will continue to pressurise the SCAF, until all their demands are met. One of their demands is for a fact-finding committee to be formed to probe what happened to protesters in Al Tahrir Square last Saturday. The coalition has also called on the SCRF to sack governors and university principals, as well as to dissolve the municipal councils.
