CAIRO - Ex-Minister of Communications and Information Technology Tarek Kamel left for France Monday to have medical treatment despite a travel ban on former officials. Sources at the Cairo International Airport said Kamel was in critical condition before he left following permission from the country's military rulers. They added that the last official of the toppled Mubarak regime that left the country was former Minister of Finance Youssef Boutros Ghali, who flew to Beirut a short time before Mubarak stepped down on February 11. Ghali is wanted on corruption charges.
