CHENNAI, India - Egypt has won the squash Word Cup, with one of its star players dedicating the title to a country at the center of political uprisings. Egypt defeated defending champion England 2-0 to win the squash World Cup on Saturday. World No. 2 Ramy Ashour beat No. 4 James Willstrop 11-8, 11-7, 11-7 in the opening match. Raneem El Weleily sealed the contest with her first win in five meetings over the women's No. 2 Jenny Duncalf 11-8, 7-11, 11-9, 11-1. Former No. 1 Ashour started strongly, wrong-footing Willstrop on several occasions. He used his trademark backhand crosscourt drop shot to set up winners.
