CAIRO - The Cairo Criminal Court Wednesday upheld a decision by Egypt's Chief Prosecutor to prevent three ex-ministers and a business tycoon from running their property. The decision included ex-Ministers of Housing, Ahmed el-Maghrabi, Tourism Zoheir Garanna, and Trade and Industry Rachid Mohamed Rachid , as well as businessman Ahmed Ezz, ex-MP and former head of the organizational affairs of the long-governing National Democratic Party (NDP). They are charged with corruption, wasting and damaging public funds and allowing others to make illegal gains.
