CAIRO - A farmer in the Upper Egyptian Governorate of Suhag was arrested for killing his daughter in what authorities described as an honour killing, a security official said. "The 20-year-old pregnant victim was single and apparently had a boyfriend," the security official said. "The father admitted strangling the victim to death with the help of her three cousins to cleanse the family honour," he added. The woman was only identified as F.A. Her body was discovered Monday on the main road of the village of Dar el-Sallam. The four men told the police they killed the victim because they suspected she had an illicit behaviour with an unknown man, who had made her pregnant.
