CAIRO - It'sa fact that each and every thing related to aviation, whether major or minor, is regulated in accordance with laws and regulations imposed by organisations and international institutions such as the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). Recently, unusual things have happened between major airlines that threaten the industry and threaten to spread chaos and contribute to the deterioration of the airline industry worldwide, unless the ICAO intervenes. Adisturbing trend has begun for some companies to try and steal away efficient and skillful pilots and engineers, luring them with material promises to quit their jobs with one company so that they can benefit another company. This can be justified as simply being the laws of ‘supply and demand' in the market, but it could also be said that the market has rules that monitor and control goods, prices and events, which are similar to the rules applied to football players, when they leave their club for another. So how long and until when will civil aviation authorities and organisations ignore this chaos caused by this stealthy recruitment that was started by the airlines of some Gulf countries? I think the ICAO should search for means to co-ordinate with civil aviation authorities all over the world to issue rules to prevent this crisis, or the ICAO will lose all credibility, especially after it already lost some by ignoring the fake emissions trading law that was issued and imposed by the European Union.
