NEW YORK, Sept 24, 2018 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi expressed Egypt's keenness on the security and stability of all Arab countries and rejection of foreign interference in their domestic affairs. In a meeting with Lebanese President Michel Aoun on the sidelines of the UN general Assembly meetings here, Sisi reiterated Egypt's support for Lebanon to face all forms of sectarian and religious extremism. Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said the president praised the historical relations binding Egypt and Lebanon, expressing Cairo's keenness on pursuing cooperation and coordination with Lebanon on other regional issues. For his part, the Lebanese president praised Egypt's efforts to achieve stability, peace and development in the region and also hailed Egypt's support for the security and stability of Lebanon.
