CAIRO, May 29, 2018 (MENA) - Egypt's Youth and Sports Minister Khaled Abdel Aziz Monday night said that Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah is in very good morale. "He is deeply grateful for the attention he has received from the Egyptian people topped by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi," the minister wrote on Facebook. Salah is expected to join the national team in Cairo just after Brussels friendly against Belgium, slated for June 6, he added. Salah will commence his treatment of a shoulder injury in Spain on Tuesday. The footballer was injured in Saturday's UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid after he landed on his shoulder from a tackle by Sergio Ramos. Chairman of the Egyptian Football Association Hany Abou Rida and doctor of the Egyptian national team Mohamed Abou el Ela will travel to Spain on Wednesday to follow up Salah's rehabilitation, said the sports minister. Salah has asserted on Twitter that he is confident he will be fit for this summer's World Cup in Russia. "It was a very tough night, but I'm a fighter. Despite the odds, I'm confident that I'll be in Russia to make you all proud. Your love and support will give me the strength I need," he added.
