CAIRO, May 9, 2018 - The Minister of Manpower, Mohamed Saafan and Italy's Ambassador in Cairo, Giampaolo Cantini, on Wednesday discussed co-operation in the field of vocational training. Discussions also covered supporting Egyptian labour in Italy within the framework of a protocol signed by the two countries. According to Saafan, Egypt needs to make use of Italian experience in the field of vocational training. The two sides agreed to develop the Egyptian curriculum and to train the trainers and accredit them at the Don Bosco Italian Institute for Vocational Education. Egyptian vocational trainers can get their certificates from the Don Bosco Institute endorsed by the Italian embassy in Cairo. The Italian ambassador said that relations with Egypt were very strong in the field of vocational trainings as Egypt had a great history in the industrial field. The ambassador added that the Embassy was ready to co-operate with various ministries and to exchange expertise.
