Pope Tawadros receives children from Cancer Hospital

CAIRO, May 4, 2018 (MENA) - Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese received at the Cathedral of Abbasiya a number of children undergoing treatment for cancer at the Children's Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 (CCHE 57357).
The pontiff welcomed the children, gave them gifts and took some pictures with them, Spokesman of the Coptic Orthodox Church Boules Halim said, noting that the pope praised the humanitarian mission of the hospital, which helps bring joy to children with cancer and their families.
Pope Tawadros visited CCHE 57357 in August 2017, Halim said referring to the pontiff's keenness on supporting any projects or institutions that work for the good of humanity.
