Agriculture min. inspects 20,000-feddan project west of Minya

CAIRO, May 2, 2018 (MENA) - Agriculture Minister Abdel Moneim el Banna inspected on Wednesday a 20,000-feddan model farm cultivated by the ministry west of Minya governorate to stand on the impact of bad weather on the ongoing work at the farm.
During his tour, the minister was keen on inspecting the establishments on the farm including green houses, open-field cultivation areas and the livestock breeding station.
The minister also followed up weather forecasts of the Meteorological Authority for the coming few days.
He also held a meeting with workers in the project and officials of the Agriculture Ministry and the Agriculture Research Center to discuss problems facing them and means of solving them.
