CAIRO, March 2, 2018 -- The Cairo government will carry out a comprehensive agricultural development in North Sinai Governorate, the Minister of Agriculture, Abdel Moneim el-Banna, said on Friday. Minister el-Banna said that the plan includes the development of livestock, poultry and fish resources as well as the establishment of agribusiness communities in the governorate. The minister added that a 10-tonne production fish farm was established in el-Roda village in Ba'er el-Abed to be a role model for other fish farms. The Ministry will boost the agriculture community through supplying farmers in North Sinai with seedlings of new plants, train them on state-of-the-art technology in agriculture and establish units for agricultural equipment.
