CAIRO, April 24, 2018 - Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades is to arrive here on April 30 to attend the launch of " A Week To Revive The Roots'' in Alexandria, Cypriot Ambassador in Cairo Charis Moritsis announced on Tuesday. In statements to MENA, Ambassador Moritsis said that Anastasiades will take part in the event along with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos. The ambassador also lauded Cairo-Nicosia deep ties which witnessed '' unprecedented'' momentum since President Sisi took office. Ambassador Moritsis highlighted that the exchange of high-level visits reflects the keenness of both countries on opening new horizons for mutual co-operation, making the best use of their potentials. According to Moritsis the President of Cypriot Parliament Dimitris Syllouris and Energy Minister Giorgos Lakkotrypis are scheduled to visit Egypt soon. "A week to Revive The Roots" will take place in Alexandria and Sharm El Sheikh from April 30 to May 6 with the key aim of boosting cooperation between Egypt, Greece and Cyprus.
