CAIRO, April 4, 2018 - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El- Sisi on Wednesday held a meeting with Mr. Habib el-Malki, the speaker of the Moroccan parliament, who is on an official visit to Cairo. President Sisi praised the the genuine fraternity that binds Egypt and Morocco. President Sisi paid tribute to Morocco's attitudes towards developments in Egypt over the past few years, and emphasized that Cairo was keen on promoting co-operation with Rabat at all levels. The Sisi-Malki talks focused on means of strengthening the special relations between the two countries in all domains, Ambassador Radi said after the meeting which was attended by the speaker of the Egyptian parliament, Dr. Ali Abdel Aal. Mr. Malki highlighted King Mohammed VI's keenness on reinforcing the fraternal relations between Morocco and Egypt. He also expressed his country's appreciation for the pivotal role undertaken by Egypt in the Middle East. Mr. el-Malki stressed that his country also appreciated Egypt's valuable contribution to fighting terrorism and extremism and realising peace and security in the region.
