CAIRO, March 13-The head of the National Elections Authority (NEA) Lasheen Ibrahim stressed that the positive participation of Egyptian expatriates in the presidential elections, scheduled for March 16-18, is one of the key elements of the success of the whole electoral process. In statements to the official Middle East News Agency (MENA), Lasheen remarked that all embassies and consulates abroad have been provided with the required voting equipment, especially the INEC card reader, which is a portable Electronic voting authentication device designed specifically for the accreditation process and authentication of eligible voters before voting. Egyptian expatriates are expected to cast their votes in 139 polling stations in headquarters of Egypt's embassies and consulates in 124 countries.
