CAIRO, March 6 (MENA) - Winding up a three-day visit to Egypt, Vladimir Voronkov, Under-Secretary-General of the UN Counter-Terrorism Office,left Cairo Tuesday for Iraq. During his stay in Egypt, Voronkov met Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar, Assistant Foreign Minister for International Security Ehab Fawzy, Assistant Defence Minister for International Cooperation Mohamed el Keshki and Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed el Tayyeb. He also visited the anti-extremism observatory affiliated with Al Azhar. Voronkov, moreover, held talks with Arab League Assistant Secretary General Hossam Zaki on the threat of terrorism at the regional level.
