HURGHADA, March 5, 2018 - A new class for solar power and wind power generating technology was inaugurated on Monday at a vocational education school in Hurghada, Egypt, by Governor of Red Sea Governorate, Ahmed Abdalla, and USAID Egypt Mission Director Sherry Carlin. The project is financed by funded by Workforce Improvement & Skill Enhancement project (WISE) with the key aim of linking technical education students to the labour market and private sector. The governor also inaugurated a sophisticated lab and workshop equipped with latest devices to prepare new calibers who are able to meet the requirements of labour market. It is worthy to be mentioned that the government launched, in February, the renewable energy curriculum at technical schools in Upper Egypt's Aswan and Hurghada.
