Trevolution Group Sees Surge in Egypt Travel, Exceeding $1.2 Billion in 2024 Bookings
Published in Daily News Egypt on 06 - 03 - 2025

Egypt's tourism industry is experiencing a boom like never before, with demand for travel to the country soaring in 2024. Trevolution Group, the travel division of Dyninno Group, has reported a remarkable surge in bookings, surpassing $1.2 billion in gross travel sales this year. The group's latest commercial results reveal a 5% increase compared to 2023, underscoring Egypt's growing appeal as a global travel destination.
According to Trevolution Group, the demand for flights to Egypt jumped by 30% year-over-year, fueled by key developments in the country's tourism sector. The total number of unique tickets issued rose to 980,092, marking a 16% increase, while flights operated by Egyptair saw a 10% rise in bookings. Cairo and Alexandria remained the top destinations for inbound travelers.
Egypt's Strategic Push to Boost Tourism
Egypt's tourism renaissance in 2024 has been driven by several strategic initiatives, including infrastructure improvements and marketing campaigns aimed at attracting international visitors. The opening of the highly anticipated Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo has played a pivotal role in drawing global attention, while the government's Living 365 campaign—targeted at Gulf and Arab markets—has further fueled demand.
With over 15 million tourists visiting Egypt in 2024, the country has solidified its position as one of the fastest-growing travel hotspots. This growth has also been reflected in Trevolution Group's rankings, where Egypt emerged as a leading destination alongside the United States, the Philippines, India, Canada, and Italy.
"We are witnessing an unprecedented rise in demand for travel to Egypt. The country's strategic investments in tourism infrastructure, coupled with our strong airline partnerships, have made Egypt a more attractive destination than ever before," said Alex Weinstein, Founder of Dyninno Group. "We are proud to play a role in facilitating travel to Egypt and look forward to further growth in the region."
Changing Travel Trends and New Consumer Behavior
A shift in travel patterns has been evident this year, with more travelers opting for flexible and last-minute trips. The number of one-way tickets booked to Egypt surged by 62%, while round-trip demand grew by 22%. There was also a significant 52% increase in last-minute travel (booked within 0-10 days of departure), reflecting a growing trend of spontaneous travel to Egypt.
Despite a growing appetite for premium travel, 92% of passengers traveling to Egypt still preferred Economy class, while 8% opted for Business class flights. The top outbound destinations for travelers departing from Egypt included the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom.
Innovation in the Travel Industry
Trevolution Group has also been making strides in the travel sector by launching innovative platforms to enhance the booking experience. In 2024, the company introduced Vagamo, an online platform designed for flexible booking with expert support, as well as Dreampass, a travel app featuring Dreampass Plus, a subscription-based loyalty program. Since its launch, Dreampass has attracted over 13,000 members and generated $1.6 million in revenue within six months, reinforcing Trevolution Group's commitment to elevating customer experience.
As Egypt continues to strengthen its position as a top global travel destination, the surge in demand witnessed by Trevolution Group signals a bright future for the country's tourism sector. With sustained investment in infrastructure and innovative partnerships, Egypt is well on its way to welcoming even more travelers in the years ahead.
