Egypt Education Platform acquires majority stake in Trillium and Petals Montessori Preschools

The Egypt Education Platform (EEP) has acquired a majority stake in Trillium and Petals Montessori Preschools, with about eight branches spread in East Cairo, serving more than a thousand preschool students.
Sources told Daily News Egypt that this investment raises the number of institutions under the EEP's management to 18 at the school and pre-school levels, with a combined capacity of about 21k students.
The source added that the EEP has completed all preparations for the start of operation in two new schools, Hayat 6 October, next September, in cooperation with "GEMS Schools."
The platform is currently studying two new investment opportunities, one of which is expected to be completed before the end of 2022.
The platform also executed in the fourth quarter of 2021 its first management agreement with The Sovereign Fund of Egypt and Mobica to manage and operate two new premium national schools that will be developed in Sixth of October City with a combined capacity of 5,000 students. The new schools are expected to start operations in September 2023.
The EEP is entering 2022 with a diversified portfolio comprising 10 schools across Cairo and Alexandria under various stages of development and with a combined capacity approaching 20,000 students.
The platform is continuing to explore potential growth opportunities in the market through future acquisitions or development of new schools.
