Health Ministry provides medical care, awareness seminars for Egyptian pilgrims in Mecca
Mobile medical teams were allotted to roam the residences of Egyptian pilgrims in hotels

Egypt's Ministry of Health and Population announced the provision of detection and treatment services to 2,816 cases through the clinics of the Egyptian Medical Mission for Hajj, including 1,505 cases that received medical services in the clinics of Mecca, and 1,311 cases in Madina.
Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, said that the number of hospital visitors is 4 cases, stressing that all of them received the necessary medical care and left the hospitals after their health conditions improved.
Abdel Ghaffar pointed out that mobile medical teams were allotted to roam the residences of Egyptian pilgrims in hotels, to provide the necessary medical service, without trouble or hardship.
For his part, Amr Kandil, the Head of the Preventive Medicine Sector and Head of the Hajj Medical Mission, confirmed the safety of all Egyptian pilgrims from any infectious diseases, stressing full cooperation and coordination with all hospitals and the Saudi health authorities.
Kandil added that the medical mission teams continue their regular visits to the Egyptian pilgrims, in their places of residence in the hotels of Mecca and Madina, while organizing daily seminars to educate the pilgrims about the measures to be taken to protect themselves from diseases, to maintain their safety during the performance of the rituals, and until their return to the Egyptian lands.
He also explained that, since the first days of the season, the medical mission has presented 1,268 seminars to educate pilgrims, including 1,152 seminars that were presented in residence rooms, and 116 seminars in gathering places in mosques, restaurants and means of transportation for pilgrims, pointing out that the total number of beneficiaries of the seminars reached 7,188 pilgrims.
