Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly directed the government to start developing villages affected by bad weather in Aswan governorate, and to add them to the presidential initiative "Decent Life". He also ordered developing water and sanitation projects in these areas. Madbouly asserted that the villages affected by the torrential rains will have priority in the development work, directing to meet the demand of the villagers to build a school in the village. During the meeting, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Assem Al-Jazzar reviewed the projects that the Central Agency for Reconstruction is implementing in Aswan Governorate, in the centers: Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Nasr El Nuba. He indicated that 31 citizen services complexes, 31 agricultural services complexes, 49 projects affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, 11 ambulance points, 22 irrigation bridge projects, and 111 electricity projects are under implementation. Al-Jazzar asserted that sewage projects will be implemented in the three centers which includes 100 villages, while sewage extension and support projects in the three centers include 16 villages. The minister said that the project to provide drinking water includes extending and strengthening drinking water networks in 99 villages, establishing nine water stations, and rehabilitating 40 water stations.
